Welcome to DAA’s ALUMNI page for Dallas Animal Services!

Have you adopted a pet from Dallas Animal Services? If so, we’d love to share your story! Just email a photo and a short paragraph about your pet to dallasanimaladvocates@gmail.com. We’ll post all our stories here. You’ll be showing off your pet and helping us convince the public that the dogs and cats at Dallas Animal Services aren’t scraggly, ill-behaved, “disposable” animals but are actually wonderful healthy, happy dogs and cats that make great family pets!

This is Corazon – I call him Cory – named for the perfect black heart on his chest. He adopted me from the shelter on Mother’s Day, 2009
(appropriate). I had been volunteering at DAS with the cats for about a year when this little guy stole my heart. -Molly D., Dallas

 
Laurel was adopted on October 20th 2007 at the grand opening of the new shelter in Dallas. I took a tour of Dallas Animal Services not intending to adopt, but when I picked up Laurel I knew she had to go home with me. – Darlene P., Garland

Trey was adopted on May 27, 2008 after we first met him at an offsite adoption event.  He’s  a little over a year old now, has an older doggie brother and an older doggie sister he loves and a bunch of cats he likes to lick (they, of course, hate it!).  – Rebecca, Dallas, Texas
